Legacy Academy Before & After School
Program |

Legacy
Academy offers an exceptional Before & After School Program. It is
designed to meet the needs of children in Kindergarten through eighth
grade. It provides a unique learning experience to keep children motivated
and focused in a fun and stimulating environment. Children attending will
spend time with friends and enjoy activities that are relevant to
school-age interests. The
students must be at least five years old and a current student
of Legacy Academy to enroll in the program. The before-school
session begins at 6:30am and ends when the school day begins at 8:00am.
The after-school session begins immediately following school dismissal and
ends at 6:00 pm. Full day
care on Teacher In-service days is available. Our talented, nurturing
childcare professionals are committed to offering the highest quality care
for our students at an affordable price for our Legacy families. The
Before & After School Program is licensed by the State of Colorado and
is in compliance with the Colorado Department of Human Services. All
childcare professionals are CPR and First Aid certified.

My name is
Judy Dumbauld and I am your Program Director for the Before & After School
Program here at Legacy Academy. I am a Colorado native and attended the
University of Colorado, receiving a degree in Elementary Education. I have
taught school for many years at the Elementary and Community College
level. I live in Castle Rock with my husband and two children. My son is
going to school at Colorado State University and my daughter is a senior
at Douglas County High School. We also have two dogs.
I am very excited to be apart of the Legacy Academy family this year. I
have planned many fun and motivating activities for all students. We will
be going outside for games and exercise. Every Friday will be our movie
madness day with a popcorn treat. We will be conducting science
experiments, arts and crafts of all kinds and of course making sure all
homework is completed if possible.
I look forward to meeting everyone and having an exciting year. Stop in
